USA Storm Chasing Expedition - 27 May, 2008

Yet another major forecast day.

We are all getting exhausted...

Driving through a town that just got a few inches of rain.

Water on road?

Yep..  Definitely water on road.

Free car wash.

This is fun..

Aha...  we found the storm

Hmmm...  incredible structure.

WOW.. WOW!!!.... WOWWW!.

This is nuts...

The contrast and colours are overwhelming.

I'm having an absolute ball with this storm.

Overwhelmed.

Me... Thanks to Eric for this great shot.. (P.S. YES I need a Hair Cut...  I know)....

Hmm...  this is ok..

That's better framing. Hi Dan! (From the Netherlands)

3 Storm Chasers.... see how they shoot...  (You remember the song)..

Eric checking the light levels.

Mounting the film camera.. Yes people still use film.

This storm is absolutely amazing.

Running away from it.

Cool shot of van 2...  Hi Mike.

How's this for positioning.. We are on the edge of the Hook Echo. (Where the Tornadoes live)

Awesome.

It's just keeps getting better.

.........

Shock and awe.

This is one of the most beautiful storms I have ever seen.

It just sat there..  sometimes moving at 8mph.

Now I need a structure for scale.

House... farm..  anything really.

A tree will have to do for the moment.

Pretty.

A little low to the ground.

That's better.

Still a little low.

DAMN!!!!

Double Damn!

I have found my foreground...

PERFECT!!!... One of my favorites.

Wow..

WOW.. DAMN... WOW.

That's it... I give up... I am running out of comments.

Speechless...

Nice little hay barrels.

Hi Eric... Any nice shots..  (Answer = YES!)

Out of comments.

Rotation in the sky.

Storm slowly passing.

Very slowly.

A news crew reporting back to station.
